Kore Aviation Takes Flight at FSANA 2025: Elevating the Future of Pilot Training - KORE HEADSET LLC

Introduction to FSANA 2025 and Its Industry Impact

KORE Aviation recently participated in the 16th Annual International Flight School Operators Conference and Trade Show, held from February 5 to 7, 2025, at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Organized by the Flight School Association of North America, this event brings together aviation professionals, flight school operators, instructors, and industry leaders.

The FSANA conference is widely recognized as a key gathering point for the flight training community. It offers valuable opportunities to explore industry developments, exchange insights, and discover tools that enhance pilot training. As aviation continues to evolve in 2025, events like FSANA play an important role in shaping the future of education, safety, and technology in flight training.

Why FSANA Matters for Flight Schools and Pilots

Flight training is changing rapidly. New technologies, updated training standards, and increasing global demand for pilots are reshaping how aviation education is delivered. Conferences such as FSANA provide a space where these changes can be discussed and understood.

Attendees benefit from:

  • Educational sessions led by aviation experts
  • Networking with flight school operators and instructors
  • Access to new tools and training solutions
  • Direct engagement with regulatory representatives and suppliers

For flight schools and instructors, staying informed is essential. For students and pilots, it means gaining access to better training environments and improved equipment.

KORE Aviation’s Presence at FSANA 2025

At this year’s conference, KORE Aviation showcased its range of aviation headsets designed for modern pilots and training environments. The company focused on highlighting key features that matter most in real world cockpit conditions.

These include:

  • Clear communication for pilot to pilot and pilot to control tower interaction
  • Comfortable design for long training sessions and extended flights
  • Durable construction suited for daily use in flight schools
  • Sleek and practical design that fits a wide range of users

KORE Aviation headsets are used by student pilots, certified flight instructors, flight schools, and experienced aviation professionals. Their versatility makes them suitable for both training and operational environments.

The Role of Headsets in Modern Flight Training

In aviation, communication is critical. A pilot headset is not just an accessory. It is an essential tool that directly impacts safety, learning, and overall flight experience. Modern aviation headsets are designed to address several key challenges:

Clear Communication in Noisy Environments

Aircraft cockpits can be extremely noisy. Headsets help reduce background noise and ensure that communication remains clear and uninterrupted. This is especially important for student pilots who are still developing confidence and situational awareness.

Comfort During Long Flights

Flight training often involves long hours in the air. A comfortable headset reduces fatigue and allows pilots to stay focused throughout the session.

Durability for Daily Use

Flight schools require equipment that can withstand frequent use. Reliable headsets support consistent training without frequent replacements.

Supporting Learning and Safety

Effective communication improves coordination between instructors and students. It also enhances safety by ensuring that instructions and alerts are clearly understood.

As aviation technology advances, headset design continues to improve, offering better noise reduction, enhanced audio clarity, and improved ergonomics.

Aligning with Aviation Trends in 2025

The aviation training industry is experiencing several important trends in 2025. These trends influence how equipment is designed and used in real training environments.

Increased Focus on Training Efficiency

Flight schools are adopting tools that help students learn faster and more effectively. Reliable communication equipment plays a key role in this process.

Growth in Global Pilot Demand

With increasing demand for pilots worldwide, training programs are expanding. This creates a need for scalable and dependable equipment solutions.

Integration of Advanced Technologies

From simulators to adaptive learning systems, technology is becoming central to pilot training. Equipment such as headsets must complement these advancements by providing consistent performance.

Emphasis on Safety and Real World Readiness

Training now focuses more on real world scenarios. Clear communication and reliable tools are essential for preparing students for actual flight conditions.

KORE Aviation’s participation in FSANA reflects its alignment with these industry developments and its ongoing support for evolving training needs.

Building Connections Within the Aviation Community

One of the most valuable aspects of FSANA is the opportunity to connect with others in the aviation field. Events like this encourage collaboration between manufacturers, flight schools, instructors, and regulatory bodies.

For KORE Aviation, the conference provided an opportunity to:

  • Engage directly with flight schools and instructors
  • Understand current challenges in training environments
  • Share insights about product design and usability
  • Build relationships within the aviation ecosystem

These interactions help shape future product development and ensure that solutions remain relevant to real user needs.

Headset Guide

Your headset may come with either a single or dual volume control located on one or both ear domes. Rotate the knob to adjust the volume to a comfortable level.
If your headset includes a mono/stereo switch located in the Y-block on the main headset cable, select the setting that matches your equipment. Use the stereo position for stereo audio sources. For all other applications, use the mono position. Refer to your aircraft radio or general aviation intercom manual for guidance on the correct setting.
Your headset is equipped with either a full-flex or wire boom that can be bent and positioned for accurate microphone placement. Adjust the boom so the microphone sits at the corner of your mouth, about ⅛ inch from your lips. Do not force the boom past its natural stopping point.
Loosen the oversized thumb nut on the side of the headset by hand. Adjust the headband up or down until the ear domes fit comfortably over your ears. Tighten the thumb nut to lock the position.
Replace the ear seals if they become worn, torn, or hardened over time. To install a new ear seal, insert the lip of the seal into the groove of the ear dome. Hold the dome firmly and keep the top of the ear seal in place while working the lip into the groove around the dome. You may need to pull slightly to ensure the seal fits tightly.
Replace the headband if it becomes worn, torn, or hardened. To replace it, grasp the top liner and gently open the Velcro seam to separate it from the inner strip. Remove the old headband and insert the new one.

General Maintenance

Regular maintenance will help keep your headset performing properly and looking like new.

Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, and do not submerge any part of the headset in water.

Use a clean, damp cloth to gently wipe the ear cups and head pad. For heavily soiled areas, use a mild solution of water and household liquid detergent.

To clean the microphone and plugs, wipe them with a clean cloth lightly dampened with alcohol.

Ear seals and microphone muffs are replaceable and should be changed as needed when they become worn.
